Rohmer is a project born from Boris Valle (piano) and Fabio Zuffanti (bass, electronics), founder member of Finisterre, among the most important Italian progressive groups of the last 15 years. Fabio and Boris have been joined by Agostino Macor (synthesizers, mellotron, electric piano, electronics, glockenspiel) and Mau Di Tollo (drums, percussion, guitars). Rohmer’s music begins where Finisterre’s “In Limine” (1996) ends and continues its work between tradition and experimentation, mixing prog, ambient, electronic, post-rock, contemporary, minimalism and jazz.

If you love those haunting, dreamy and catchy atmospheres you will fall in love with this shining little gem.

Rohmer è un progetto nato dalla collaborazione tra Boris Valle (pianoforte) e Fabio Zuffanti (basso, elettronica), fondatore dei Finisterre, tra i più importanti gruppi di rock progressivo italiano degli ultimi 15 anni. Fabio e Boris sono qui raggiunti da Agostino Macor (sintetizzatori, mellotron, piano elettrico, effetti elettronici, glockenspiel) e Mau Di Tollo (batteria, percussioni, chitarre). La musica di Rohmer inizia dove finisce “In Limine” dei Finisterre (1996) e prosegue nell’unione tra tradizione e sperimentazione, mescolando prog, ambient, elettronica, post-rock, musica contemporanea, minimalista e jazz.
